Jerome Bouchez, OD

Dr. Bouchez received his Bachelor of Science degree in 2009 from Texas State University. Before optometry school, he spent a year living in France and traveling around Europe and Africa. He attended optometry school at his hometown University of Houston and graduated with honors in 2014.

For several years after graduating, Dr. Bouchez worked in a surgical setting and gained valuable experience co-managing LASIK, cataract, and corneal surgery patients. He began practicing in the Littleton Costco from 2016-2018 and has been in the Arvada location ever since then. This opportunity allowed him to partner with his wife Dr. Sigel, and their good friend Dr. Colpitt.

His passions include ancient history, hiking, skiing, travelling, food, cars, and mechanical watches. Above all, he enjoys spending most of his time with his wife, and playing with their 2 young kids

Irena Sigel, OD

Dr. Irena Sigel obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology and graduated with Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston Downtown. Following her undergraduate studies, she received her doctorate from the University of Houston College of Optometry, where she also participated in a research project about retinal metabolism which resulted in a publication in Molecular Vision.

Dr. Sigel completed a clinical externship at Berkeley Eye Center in Houston, TX which emphasized on treatment and management of ocular diseases such as glaucoma, keratoconus, and diabetic retinopathy. She also focused on pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing cataract extractions, LASIK, and retinal surgeries.
Her second rotation was at Bellaire Family Eye Care in Houston, TX where she focused on vision therapy and specialty contact lens evaluations.

In her spare time, Dr. Sigel enjoys hiking and biking with her husband, Dr. Bouchez, and their 2 kids.

Jessica Colpitt Hayes, OD, FAAO

2022 COA Young OD of the Year

Dr. Colpitt was born and raised in Oklahoma. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science/Zoology from the University of Oklahoma, and graduated cum laude from Northeastern State Oklahoma College of Optometry in 2013. She also completed a Residency in primary eye care and ocular disease at the VA Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Dr. Colpitt loves being involved in the community and providing free eye exams to those in need; including regular volunteer work at Colorado Coalition for the Homeless Eye Clinic, previous work with special Olympians, tornado victims, optometric mission trips to Honduras, and Von’s Vision Day. Dr. Colpitt received her Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry in 2015. She is also a member of the American Optometric Association(AOA) and Colorado Optometric Association(COA), and is involved in COA Young Professionals and LEAD ON program. She enjoys yoga, hiking, cooking, all sports, and spending time with her husband and their dog.
